The Samsung Galaxy Fold is back after a while of having the team sent back to the drawing board.
The early release of the bendable phone came with a little
pack of big issues that people had problems with. The issues reportedly were
related to a little gap in the hinge and most importantly with the element on
top of the screen which people tried to peel off.
There was a little gap between that screen element and the
edge of the screen which encouraged people to peel it off, thinking of it as
just any other plastic screen protector. With the latest version of the phone,
that element has been taken and tucked under the bezel to avoid any of the past
misadventures.
The phone isn’t available yet in most regions like USA or
Canada but you can order it from Korea. The retail price of the Samsung Galaxy
Fold is around $2000, making it a very high priced device. Of course, it has
the high-end features to go along with the price tag.
Although it originally had other colors like Martian Green
and Astro Blue, there’s only two that are available as of now; Cosmos Black and
Space Silver. It comes with the Galaxy Buds, which have interchangeable ear
tips with them. You will also find a Type-C data cable and a fast charger in
the box.
Some of the most exciting of the Samsung foldable phone
features include:
- Dynamic AMOLED
- 12 Megapixel Camera with an additional 12 Megapixel Telephoto lens
- 5G Capability
And more…
Of course, this isn’t the end of it. It has many other
top-notch specs that make it
hold it place rightfully amongst the top tier. There’s a lot of ambition behind
Samsung Galaxy Fold since it’s a piece of tech that’s been 8 years in
development. Which is a lot. For anything.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold is out! And it’s a foldable phone
that you can buy right now in 2019!
